About this coin

As events have sadly transpired, Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee last year has turned out to be the very last milestone event of her history-making reign. This jubilee, which is the first Platinum Jubilee in over 1000 years of British history, has earned her a place in history. As part of the celebrations Britain produced their usual set of coins for the year: one penny, twopence, five pence, ten pence, the seven-sided twenty pence and fifty pence coins, and the bimetallic one pound and two pound coins. There was also a commemorative fifty pence coin featuring a large ‘70’ with the royal cypher inside the zero, along with a larger crown-sized five pound face value coin featuring a new rendition of the royal arms with her regnal dates ‘1952 • 2022’. All of these coins feature the Fifth and final coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark on the obverse side. This set includes all ten of these coins, in brilliant Uncirculated condition, and they are joined by the full set of eight commemorative stamps issued by Royal Mail in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee. The stamps feature images of The Queen taken at various stages of her reign – some of them in black and white – which serves to illustrate just how long her incredible reign was. All eight stamps are in mint condition. Enquire about this set today!
