A TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO FOUGHT AND FELL.

Opened in November 1934, initially in memory of Anzacs who fell at World War One’s Gallipoli campaign, Europe and Middle Eastern theatres, both the ANZAC Memorial in Sydney and The Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne are strikingly different, yet share many aspects of respect, heroism and gratitude to those to whom we all owe so much.

After overcoming many bureaucratic and funding issues both eventually came to fruition, not only as symbols of gratitude and commemorative roles but also in assisting widows, orphans, the injured, maimed and afflicted service personnel. The histories of both memorials are a fascinating journey of endurance and endeavour – with much involved to achieve these remarkable architectural symbols of respect and devotion.

As such, The Bradford Mint is honoured to present this exclusive, generously sized 65mm diameter silver commemorative. The contrast between the two memorials is readily apparent in the finely etched renditions of each. Beneath the legend LEST WE FORGET stands a respectful Anzac, flanked by the memorial fountain and eternal flame. Strictly limited to 199 worldwide, this commemorative acts as a lasting tribute to honour those who deserve our undying gratitude.

While we are proud to offer discerning collectors the exclusive privilege of securing one of these fitting tributes to our military history, it is a very limited release and orders will be processed on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
