Specifications

Much sought-after by philatelists and rarely ever offered in one set, this edition unites ALL of the five pre-decimal stamps issued in commemoration of ANZAC Day. The collection contains both stamps issued in 1935 for the 20th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing. These two stamps depict the Cenotaph in London (The Cenotaph is a war memorial on Whitehall in London, England. Its origin is in a temporary structure erected for a peace parade following the end of the First World War). Both stamps feature the same iconic design, in red and black designs with different face values. The set also features three stamps issued in 1965 for the 50th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing, in khaki, blue and maroon colours.
